Nebraska football players and coaches are excited about the rest of the season after a breakout win.
Following the Nebraska football win over the Akron Zips, plenty of Husker coaches and players were more than a little happy about how the team performed. While the defense stood out with a shutout, it was the offense that got plenty of flowers.
The Huskers know that if they want to compete in the Big Ten, they're going to need to score, and score a lot. That's why head coach Matt Rhule and several other players weren't just happy about how the offense played, but how well so many different players contributed to the 68-0 win over the Akron Zips.
