FRANCIS GARDLER, JOURNAL STARThe Red team’s first-tier offense dominated in Nebraska’s spring game on Saturday like it was supposed to by racking up 49 points and 508 yards.
But there was still growth on the White team’s defense, specifically from junior linebacker Jacob Weinmaster.
The inside linebacker led all defensive players with 13 total tackles, two of which were for a loss. He also recorded a sack and broke up a pass.
