Vandy still standing behind Rocker's clutch pitching, setting up decisive Game 3

Rocker fired 6 1/3 innings of one-run baseball while and quelled the Wolverines’ typically steady offense for most of the night in the Commodores 4-1 victory over Michigan to tie the College World Series championship series at a game apiece and force a decisive Game 3 Wednesday night at TD Ameritrade Park.

A single from Harrison Ray and a Michigan error in the top of the fifth helped jump-start the Vanderbilt offense in the top of the fifth and a move to the bullpen for the Wolverines, however, and an Austin Martin fielder’s choice two batters later gave the Commodores their first lead of the championship series.
