Lincoln – Three members of the Husker men’s basketball program will graduate from the University of Nebraska this weekend during commencement ceremonies at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The group includes former Husker Duby Okeke (Jonesboro, Ga.), who received his Master’s Degree on Friday, and 2019 seniors Tanner Borchardt (Gothenberg, Neb.) and Johnny Trueblood (Omaha, Neb.), who graduate on Saturday.
Okeke earned his Master’s Degree in Science in Child, Youth and Family Studies while balancing a professional basketball career, as he is currently playing in Spain. Okeke played in 28 games in 2017-18 and ranked third on the team in blocked shots in helping the Huskers to a 22-11 record and an NIT berth in his only season at Nebraska.
