This Sunday’s Super Bowl LII Features Three Former Huskers

The Huskers will have three former players at this Sunday’s Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis:

    • Nathan Gerry (Philadelphia Eagles)
    • Vincent Valentine (New England Patriots)
    • Rex Burkhead (New England Patriots)

At least one former Nebraska player has appeared in every Super Bowl since 1993, a streak that has now reached 25 straight Super Bowls. Huskers have appeared in 40 of the 52 Super Bowls.

Roger Craig, John Parrella, Grant Wistrom and Russ Hochstein were each on a roster for three Super Bowls. Roger Craig leads all former Huskers with three Super Bowl rings, all won with the San Francisco 49ers.
