Did we learn much from the spring game? Maybe. Maybe not.
- The defense looked like they had the upper hand much of the time. But...
- with so few running backs playing and the top wideout sitting out, the offense wasn’t playing with all their chess pieces.
- The offensive line didn’t look great, but the coaches have been telling us all spring that this group still isn’t on the same page...we’ll need to see a big leap by fall. The amount of youth on that squad does still give me hope that can happen.
