Nebraska fans are getting used to these ninth inning walk-off heroics! Today it was Case Sanderson that got mobbed as he crossed the plate after smashing the first pitch thrown by reliever Dylan Vigue into the Michigan bullpen for a 5-2 Cornhusker win over the Wolverines. The lefthanded hitter is not known for his power, but as soon as turned and made contact on the fastball from Vigue, there was no doubt they’d be dancing at the plate.
After breaking the Friday night jinx last night, the Nebraska ball team could afford to play a little looser than they have on previous Saturdays.
