The Lincoln Saltdogs have added another former Husker to their roster. Lincoln announced the signing of outfielder Austin Darby on Thursday.
Darby was a four-year starter at Nebraska from 2012-15, making 200 starts and collecting 226 hits. He finished his Big Ten career with a .291 batting average, including 33 doubles, nine home runs, 108 RBIs and 112 runs scored.
Lincoln begins its season May 19 at Wichita. The Saltdogs will play Sioux City in an exhibition at Seward's Plum Creek Memorial Field on May 12.
