Detroit - In the first of two sessions on the final day of the 2022 NCAA Championships, Peyton Robb led the Huskers with a fourth-place finish in the 157-pound bracket. Mikey Labriola and Eric Schultz followed with seventh-place finishes and Christian Lance got eighth.
After five-straight wins in the consolation bracket, Robb met Iowa State's top-seeded David Carr in Saturday's third-place match. Carr attacked first in Period 1 and Robb responded with escapes in the final two periods, but it was not enough as Carr recorded two takedowns and two near fall points to secure the 7-2 victory.
