If I would have told you a month ago that Nebraska would beat Penn State 30-23, you would have been ecstatic.
If I would have told you a few days ago that the Huskers would win this game by that score, you’d be happy.
So let’s take a big deep breath over Nebraska’s first victory of the season. Nebraska looked like the team they want to be in the first half, but once again, looked like the team they’ve been the last few years in the second half. That’s still progress, but it also points out there’s still a lot to work on.
