With the abrupt end to last season a distant but familiar memory and the 2018 season about to begin, the Nebraska women’s soccer team has turned to two words for inspiration ahead of the season-opener at Oklahoma on Thursday.
“We have words that we’ve been going by this offseason and they’re 'Unity' and 'Relentless.' We keep those in mind before every practice and every upcoming game to set the standard,” junior forward Elyse Huber said.
“We have the main goal, and that’s to be Big Ten champions. Then we want to push it one step further and make it into the NCAA Tournament and win some games.
