The Big Ten Conference announced its women's tennis individual honors on Wednesday morning following the conclusion of a shortened 2019-2020 season. Nebraska's Claire Reifeis was unanimously named to the All-Big Ten team and Isabel Adrover Gallego earned the Sportsmanship Award for the Huskers.
Reifeis earned All-Big Ten accolades for the second year in a row. In 2020, the Indianapolis, Ind., native went 6-4 in singles play, including a 1-0 record in conference competition. On Feb. 23, Reifies defeated No. 119 Thasaporn Naklo of Iowa State 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 1 spot, helping NU to a 5-2 win over the Cyclones.
