Seven starts in and Adrian Martinez has already played in two tough road environments — at Michigan and at Wisconsin.
And though the Nebraska freshman quarterback hasn't played at Ohio State, he's quite familiar with the atmosphere at the Horseshoe.
Martinez made an official recruiting visit to Columbus last year when the Buckeyes played Michigan State. His host on that trip: Ohio State starting quarterback Dwayne Haskins.
"Obviously, there are some freshmen there I know," Martinez said Monday. "I obviously know some of the coaches there, so there's a little bit of familiarity with some of the guys they have over there.
