The third-year offensive coordinator, though, acknowledged Tuesday that a few miscues in particular stuck out in his mind from Saturday night’s 43-36 win over Arkansas State as troublesome.
The first, which began with 9 minutes, 20 seconds remaining and the Huskers leading by 12, covered 20 yards and 2:43 on the clock but ended when Tanner Lee was flushed from the pocket and missed JD Spielman on third-and-5 from the ASU 40.
“You’re controlling the ball … we were in good shape and we blow the protection,” Langsdorf said. “We had an open route for a first down where (Lee) should be going with the ball, and he gets chased out of the pocket and threw low.
