Red Report: Held thinks Husker coaches need to teach a bit of history to prospects

"I think kids are seeing we're getting better," Husker running backs coach Ryan Held said Wednesday. "And they see what we do schematically is something that's fun to play in."

Held said Nebraska in some ways sells itself, noting the Huskers' 366-game sellout streak. But he also noted that Husker coaches work hard in recruiting.

"Recruits see the potential," he said. "Would we like to have a better record right now? Of course we would. But I think everybody could say we're getting better and we're fixing the things that have been shooting us in the foot.
