Nebraska has spent the early part of the week extending scholarship offers to many 2020 prospects along with some 2021s and even 2022s.
The Husker staff is around the country -- running backs coach Ryan Held was in Ohio, Travis Fisher and Erik Chinander (and likely Scott Frost) in Alabama, etc. -- but it was easy to notice that many of the new offers came in Texas.
NU has one 2019 signee from the Lone Star state in defensive lineman Brant Banks and signed one in 2018 (safety Cam'Ron Jones), but it appears the staff is ramping up to be even more involved in the talent-rich state going forward.
