Recruit Watch: Washington team left chasing Husker recruit Darien Chase

Darien Chase (Union, Washington), one of the most recent commits in Nebraska's 2019 class, is listed as an athlete by recruiting services.

On Friday, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound four-star recruit showed why wide receiver may be his calling in college. It's also where the Huskers want to play him.

Chase caught eight passes for 233 yards and four touchdowns in his team's 55-37 win against Enumclaw in a Class 4A state qualifying game.

Chase hauled in touchdowns of 63, 36, 23 and 8 yards. He also had two rushes for 6 yards.

Husker athlete recruit Jamie Nance (Blanchard, Oklahoma) provided a big spark on special teams, returning a kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown in a 49-6 win against Harrah.
