Husker linebacker recruit Nick Henrich (Omaha Burke) had 16 tackles, including 4½ for a loss, in the top-ranked Bulldogs' 35-7 win against Omaha Central.

Nebraska recruit Garrett Snodgrass (York) rushed for 118 yards and threw for 122 in the Dukes' 20-13 loss to McCook.

Nebraska quarterback recruit Luke McCaffrey (Littleton, Colorado) threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns in Valor Christian's grind-it-out 14-6 win against Pomona.
