#ProBigRed: Huskers in the NFL - Week 1

Fourteen former Huskers saw action for NFL teams in the opening week of the season, with seven earning starts.

Sam Koch, a 12-year NFL veteran, was a key contributor in Baltimore's shutout of the Cincinnati Bengals, as he punted six times for 250 yards, notching a 41.7 yard average. He had a long punt of 52 yards, and pinned the Bengals inside the 20-yard line twice in the Ravens' 20-0 win.

In the Thursday's NFL season opener, Rex Burkhead earned the start at running back in his first game for New England, rushing three times for 15 yards and catching one pass for eight yards.
