Bob Diaco and Willie Taggart have each spent the past several months adjusting to new work environments and roles.
Diaco, of course, was named Nebraska’s defensive coordinator in January after three years as UConn’s head coach, while Taggart moved across the country – from running South Florida’s program to Oregon’s.
When the two find themselves on opposite sidelines Saturday afternoon at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, there will be plenty of familiarity.
“I would think that Coach has a pretty good idea of the things that I like to do and I’ve got a pretty good idea of the things that he likes to do,” Diaco said.
