Along with her teammates on a YMCA youth soccer team, Elana Webber used to be one of the ball girls for matches for the Nebraska women’s soccer team.
Webber got to do that for about three years. She was beginning to fall in love with the sport, and she looked up to the college players. Now in a few years Webber will be one of those Husker players.
Webber recently committed to a scholarship offer to play for the Huskers. She’ll be a junior at Lincoln Pius X this year, where she plays a defensive midfielder position on the soccer team.
