I really did not think Nebraska would bring in another proven and fairly stellar player this year to Lincoln.
I honestly thought that Fred and his assistants had brought in enough talent to get them through the 2021-22 season. They had the local boys, four and five star talent, and seasoned veterans. It’s Nebrasketball, we always worked with less.
Then Alonzo Verge Jr. came into the picture.
Alonzo is a high end player who comes to us from Arizona State via Chicago. As a Sun Devil he was the PAC-12 Sixth Man of the Year in 2019-20.
