It is already the offseason for the Nebraska Cornhuskers Men’s Basketball team, and with that will come roster changes. The first of that news came on Friday of last week when redshirt freshman forward Bret Porter announced he would be leaving the program and entering his name in the transfer portal.
Porter was a native Nebraskan who played at Millard North in high school. He was a member of head coach Fred Hoiberg’s first incoming class in 2019 where he redshirted and played on the scout team.
As a redshirt freshman this past season, Porter saw action in seven total games, four of which included the conference season.
