Nebraska, the volleyball state.
That isn’t the license plate, but maybe it should be.
There will be a presser at 1:30 PM today announcing “Volleyball Day” in Nebraska, said “Volleyball Day” to be held at Memorial Stadium on August 30th.
Our beloved Huskers will play UNO at 7:00 pm, while UNK will play Wayne State at 4:30 pm.
Then they’ll have a “national recording artist” concert after the matches. (No mention of the name, but it should be Weird Al, right?)
It will be a wonderful celebration as Nebraska, the volleyball state. Perhaps they should change the state slogan to something about volleyball.
