For the second straight week, Nebraska boasts the Big Ten Conferences Pitcher of the Week. After Brett Sears went for a complete games shutout against Ohio State, Mason McConnaughey went out and pitched 7 scoreless innings against the Big Ten’s top offensive team in Rutgers. The 16-1 victory was the lone win of the series for Nebraska.
