The Nebraska football team is moving quickly in order to try to fill its biggest holes on the roster. While the transfer portal opened on Friday, the Huskers have already drawn a bead on several players, including Owen Chambliss.
Chambliss was one of the best players for Rob Aurich and the San Diego State defense this year. He had a breakout season for the Aztecs in 2025 and was rewarded with selection to the All-Mountain West first team.
The talented linebacker finished with a team-high 110 tackles, 30 more than the next player on the list, and his 62 solo tackles were 22 more than the next player.
