After the success of raising money for those who have been affected by the flooding throughout Nebraska during the NIT Men’s Basketball game against Butler in April, the University of Nebraska Athletic Department has released the following statement in regards to another effort to raise money for the flooding victims before the Spring Game this coming Saturday.
Per the release:
The recent unprecedented flooding has impacted thousands of families across Nebraska and in Southwest Iowa. To date, 74 cities and 65 counties have been declared a State of Emergency.
Nebraska Athletics would like to encourage all Nebraskans to help in the relief efforts.
