Nebraska will not be playing in a bowl game this season. Per a statement from the athletic department, it appears players voted to not participate in post-season and end the 2020 season.
I find it disappointing as I always want more Nebraska football. However it’s easy to understand the sentiment. This has been a year of... uncertainty, that word being the most positive word I can find to describe it.
I know from comments here and on social media an attitude among a segment of our fan base that they didn’t deserve it anyway. I find that a harsh statement of judgement from people probably sitting safely on their couch at home.
