First Half Analysis:
Well I’ll be honest, this one got out of hand in a damn hurry, and in a good way. Nebraska opened up the game on a 12-0 run as South Carolina State didn’t score for the first 6 minutes. Things didn’t get much better for the Bulldogs, as they committed more turnovers (7), than they made field goals (5) in the entire first half. Nebraska went on multiple scoring droughts of 3+ minutes themselves, but it didn’t make much of a difference in this one. Nebraska played solid defense, moved the ball very well and finished the first half up 50-11.
