Now that the Transfer Portal has officially opened, Nebraska is trying to move fast to fill the many holes on its roster. Having already positioned itself to grab one of the better quarterbacks in the country, the Huskers are hoping to get someone to block for him as well, in Brendan Black.
Black is a monster offensive lineman who has started 30 of the 36 games he's played in for Iowa State over the last three years. This past season, he played in all 12 games and started 10, all at right guard.
Black is visiting Nebraska on Friday and Saturday, and it looks as though things could move almost as fast as they're expected to move for Minchey.
