Nebraska in the driver's seat for Blue Chip dual-sport 5-star prospect

As the Nebraska football coaching staff starts turning some of its attention to the 2027 class, things are looking far brighter than they are for the 2026 class. This week, it came out that the sun is especially shining on the Huskers when it comes to a 5-star tight end prospect in Ahmad Hudson, who could benefit both Matt Rhule's and Fred Hoiberg's basketball programs.

It should surprise absolutely no one that when it comes to landing Hudson, the coaching staff is getting a bit of help from 2027 quarterback commit Trae Taylor. However, the fact that the Cornhuskers are open to letting the Blue Chip prospect play both sports in college has to be a big key as well.
