Then the season happened. Many have lost faith. A lot are no longer paying attention. So be it.
I’ve used cheerleaders on our game threads most of the time. Today I call upon Tom Novak, the toughest son of a bitch to ever play Husker football. There’s this constant talk about Blackshirt tradition, what that means, and how “these kids these days are so young they don’t know what Nebraska tradition is about”. Blah blah blah.
There’s a story about Novak coming to the sideline with broken ribs, having them pushed back into place, then going back into the game.
