As many of you know, the NFL Draft is approaching. There are a couple Huskers who could find NFL homes at the end of the month. According to a recent mock draft put together by CBSSports, two Nebraska football players will join the professional ranks.
Lamar Jackson was selected in the third round with the 81st overall pick by the Raiders, while Khalil Davis was selected with the 15th pick in the seventh round, number 229 overall by the Redskins.
These fits make sense for both parties. The Raiders need help in the secondary, and Jackson would be the perfect fit in that regard.
