Nebraska football was close to losing a member of the coaching staff.

I was reading one of Steven M. Sipple’s columns on Thursday, and he made a point in it that kind of made sense to me. The Georgia Bulldogs had their eye on Nebraska football secondaries coach Travis Fisher.

Fisher was rumored to be on Georgia head coach Kirby Smart’s shortlists, but the job eventually went to Jahmile Addae.
