The term Alpha Male has a negative connotation in some circles these days because far too many truly strange people have decided that the term is a way to proclaim themselves bigger and stronger while whining and complaining about too much mustard on their hamburgers. However, when Nebraska football tight end Thomas Fidone talks about how he and Matt Rhule are “extreme alphas” it has a nice ring to it.
