One of the most intriguing names in fall camp for the Nebraska football team this year was tight end Mac Markway. Unfortunately for both the Huskers and for the young player, for the second straight year, he won't get to show Cornhuskers fans what he's capable of doing.
For the second straight year, Markway suffered a torn ACL just a few days into fall camp. Last year, he suffered a tear just days after he made a surprise arrival to the team. It was a whirlwind turnaround for a player who went out of his way to get himself to Lincoln on his own dime, and was such a shock addition to the roster that his then-offensive coordinator couldn't confirm he was a member of the team at his first press conference.
