Nebraska Football has added another defensive stud to the fold. 2020 three-star inside linebacker Rodney Groce has committed to the program. He made the announcement via Twitter earlier in the day.
Groce is the 22nd overall player in the 2020 class, and the 25th overall player in the state of Alabama per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Groce had also received offers from the likes of Auburn and Alabama. On the Nebraska front, he was recruited by defensive coordinator Erik Chinander and linebackers coach Barrett Ruud.
This is the 12th overall commitment in the 2020 class, one that ranks 33rd nationally and ninth overall in the Big Ten per the 247Sports Team Rankings.
