When looking at former Nebraska football players trying to make their name in the NFL, week 16 has quite a few names missing. Guys like Rex Burkhead, who had been growing into his role, are out with injury.
Quincy Enunwa has missed all season after a great 2016. Still, there are enough Huskers that when you look at the box scores of most NFL games, you are likely to find at least one guy who played in Lincoln on Saturdays.
That doesn’t even take the former Husker players who are now coaching up proteges in order to try and succeed.
