Nebraska football: Former coach gets coordinator job

Former Nebraska football defensive backs coach Marvin Sanders is back in the college ranks. After spending the last four years as the head coach of a high school football team, Sanders was hired to be the defensive coordinator for Coastal Carolina.

The Chanticleers are coached by Joe Moglia, who has worked with Sanders before. The two coaches both worked with each other in Nebraska but not with the Cornhuskers.

Moglia and Sanders worked together on the semi-pro football team the Omaha Nighthawks. After working with the Nighthawks, Sanders was named the defensive coordinator for the FAU Owls.
