Nebraska football finds its cupcake opponent for 12th game

The will they, or won’t they period of the season is officially over. At least it is when it comes to whether or not the Nebraska football team will be able to find an opponent for a 12th game.

The program announced on Thursday afternoon that it has officially signed FCS team Bethune Cookman to come to Lincoln during the Cornhuskers’ former bye week on October 27.

The announcement basically means the team is going to be playing 12 straight games. That might be fun for the fans but affords the Huskers even less margin for error and injury as the year plays out.
