Nebraska football fans are plenty frustrated after another close loss to another ranked team. However, there's still reason for optimism following the defeat to the USC Trojans. Matt Rhule and Co. are on quite a heater on the recruiting front, and that includes impressing Antayvious "Tay" Ellis, one of the best wide receiver recruits in the 2027 class.
Ellis was in town to see the Huskers' Blackout game, and despite some struggles, the 4-star wide receiver was impressed with his potential fit in the offense. According to On3's Bryan Munson, Ellis said he could see himself "being a playmaker" for NU, should he choose to spend his college days in Lincoln.
