Nebraska football may be playing in Ireland sooner rather than later.
Although the Nebraska football trip to Dublin Ireland may be canceled for 2021, there may be a trip in the works for 2022. Instead of facing Illinois like they would have in August, there are talks that they could face Northwestern.
According to a report from the Lincoln Journal Star, there are plans in the works for Nebraska to go to Ireland for the 2022 Aer Lingus classic in Dublin.
