Let me start off by saying I am not trying to put unrealistic expectations on Nebraska football rookie Alante Brown. Comparing him to even Wan’dale Robinson at this point is a bit premature. However, those two players share similar qualities.
For one, both Robinson and Brown can move around and play different positions. We saw Robinson take on the role of both running back and wide receiver this season. Brown can do the same. The fact that he ran the fastest 40-yard dash time out of any of the guys following winter break is impressive. The fact that he played quarterback at the high school level is also impressive.
