The Nebraska football team wants to bolster its wide receiver corps for next season by pursuing Tucker Holloway, who just announced he's entering the transfer portal.
Holloway can leave Virginia Tech due to the portal rules that apply when a head coach is fired. With the Hokies bidding adieu to head coach Brent Pry, Holloway is looking for another team, and the Huskers are the latest entrants into the derby to win the talented player's services.
Nebraska football targeting Virginia Tech transfer Tucker Holloway
While Holloway missed all of 2024 with an injury, Nebraska is interested in the punt returner and wide receiver because the 6-foot-2 player displayed his speed a number of times on punt returns, taking one back 90 yards in 2022 against Georgia Tech for a touchdown.
