Nebraska Cornhuskers News: Pipeline power, greatest ever, mile high recruiting

A school that has become a pipeline for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football program all of the sudden just got itself a new stadium that will make some FBS colleges jealous.

Buford High School unveiled a new $62 million football stadium earlier this year, which resembles an NFL stadium more than a high school one. The Phillip Beard Stadium itself features 10,000 seats, a 3,500-square-foot video board, 15 luxury suites, and a two-story field house. The facility cost $62 million, according to multiple media reports.

Dayton Raiola will be representing the Nebraska Cornhuskers for Buford in his senior year and will be quarterbacking the high school when they open on national television, thanks to ESPN, on August 14.
