The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been carried by its powerful bats this season, and Max Anderson is now getting the attention he deserves because of it.
The baseball team has in fact had a couple of pretty impressive offensive players. Weirdly enough, that power is coming from its double-play combo. Baseball fans aren’t used to see a ton of power come out of the middle infield, let alone the two best power hitters on a team being the shortstop and second baseman.
The Huskers are definitely setting conventional wisdom on its ear with power from that combo, and on any given day, either Max Anderson or Brice Matthews is slugging another homer against Nebraska baseball opponents.
