Nebraska's 2026 recruiting class is relatively tiny and ranked as one of the worst in the modern era. However, boy oh boy is the 2027 class looking quite attractive. A run the likes of which haven't been seen since the Bill Callahan recruiting years continued on Wednesday night with the commitment of Jayden Travers.
The Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy defensive lineman announced his commitment to Nebraska on Wednesday evening during the broadcast of the Overtime National Championship game. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Travers becomes commit No. 7 for Matt Rhule and the Huskers in the 2027 class, adding to a group that's already in the Top 5 in the country.
