It was only one season with the Big Red but Husker guard Shamiel Stevenson has decided to leave the program and try his talents in the NBA.
The 6’6” 245 pound Shamiel came to Nebraska after a quick trip to Nevada after playing for the University of Pittsburgh. He only played one season for the Huskers and most of his time came off the bench.
He averaged 5.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for Nebraska and never really took off in the starting lineup as the season went on. Shamiel had issues with fouls, turnovers, and struggled from beyond the arch.
