Nebraska Basketball: Men's Season Is Over

Nebraska head men's basketball coach Tim Miles has released a statement that the Nerbasketball season has come to an end:

"After talking with the team and our administration, we were all in agreement that the 2016 Nebraska Basketball season should end in Indianapolis," Miles said. "There were some attractive opportunities, but the season has been long, considering we started practices in late July for our trip to Spain, and missing additional class time isn't in the best interest of our student-athletes."

Not only is there no postseason for a team that could have been the most exciting men's basketball team to watch in years, but the careers of seniors Shavon Shields and Benny Parker have come to an end.
