Nebraska Basketball: Kobe King could help program take next step

Nebraska basketball is about to get a lot better. Wednesday, they received a commitment from Wisconsin guard Kobe King.

According to a report from ESPN, King told the Wisconsin State Journal that he told coaches and teammates that he was leaving before Wisconsin’s game against Iowa.

King will bring an immediate boost to Nebraska. He started in 19 games this season for the Badgers, averaging 10 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest. His best game to this point in the season was against Indiana in December. He scored 24 points.

He was heating up in the month of January, scoring 21 points against Illinois.
